Pauway Story:Farmland Renovation Power Supply Project in Rwanda
Farmland Renovation Power Supply Project in Rwanda
PAUWAY exported 3 units of PWC45S diesel generator sets to Rwanda, which are deployed to provide stable power support for local farmland renovation works.
Project Background & Tender Award
Farmland renovation is a key agricultural development project in Rwanda, which involves farmland consolidation, irrigation system construction, water pump operation and field mechanical construction. Many rural areas lack stable municipal power supply, so portable generator sets become essential power equipment to guarantee the smooth implementation of agricultural upgrading projects.
Core Technology & Equipment Configuration
Generating Units
This project adopts 3 sets of PWC45S diesel generator sets, featuring compact structure, flexible mobility and reliable output, fully meeting the power demand of water pumps, field construction machinery and agricultural supporting facilities during farmland transformation.
Project Positioning
Mobile temporary power equipment for rural farmland renovation projects, solving the problem of insufficient power supply in remote rural areas and supporting the construction of agricultural irrigation and infrastructure.
Equipment Features
- Small footprint and easy to transport, suitable for frequent moving between scattered farmland plots
- Stable voltage output, reliable for long-time continuous operation of irrigation water pumps
- Strong adaptability to outdoor rural environment and tropical climate conditions
Project Significance & Challenges
Project Value
The generator sets effectively guaranteed the progress of Rwanda’s farmland upgrading project, helped improve local agricultural irrigation conditions, and laid a foundation for raising regional crop yields.
Execution Challenges
Completed overseas packaging, long-distance sea transportation and on-site installation guidance, and optimized unit running parameters to adapt to rural intermittent load characteristics.
