Security Section Power Supply Project for Na Duong Phase II Thermal Power Plant, Vietnam

PAUWAY supplied PWY1000 diesel generator set to Na Duong Phase II Thermal Power Plant in Vietnam, with a continuous power of 500KW and high IP protection rating. The unit serves as the emergency power supply for the plant’s security section to guarantee safe shutdown of core equipment under total power failure conditions.

Project Background & Tender Award

Na Duong Phase II is a 110MW large thermal power plant in northern Vietnam, an important power source for local industrial and residential electricity consumption. The security section power supply is the last safety barrier for thermal power units, which can avoid major damage to steam turbines, boilers and automatic control systems caused by sudden total power outage of the whole plant.

Generating Units

The project adopts PWY1000 diesel generator set with rated continuous power of 500KW. Adopting high IP protection grade design, the unit is dustproof, waterproof and moisture-proof, adapting to the complex high-dust operating environment of thermal power plants and the humid tropical climate in Vietnam.

Project Positioning

Exclusive emergency backup power source for the security section of Na Duong Phase II Power Plant, responsible for supplying power to critical safety loads such as turbine lubricating oil pumps, control systems and emergency lighting during factory-wide power failure to realize safe unit shutdown.
