PAUWAY supplied a total of 3 units of PWP series diesel generator sets to remote industrial operations and municipal facilities in Mongolia, covering a power range from 500KW to 1200KW at 50Hz. These heavy-duty units provide prime power for key industrial sites in the South Gobi region, as well as standby power for provincial centers and district administrative facilities, where extreme continental climate with winter temperatures below -40°C and vast distances make diesel power the only viable source beyond the central grid corridor.

Mongolia is the world’s most sparsely populated sovereign nation, with nearly half its citizens in Ulaanbaatar. Beyond the capital and a few provincial centers, most of the country’s vast territory has no grid connection. Remote industrial operations must generate their own power at distant sites, while provincial towns rely on small diesel stations for essential services. PAUWAY’s PWP series, powered by Perkins engines and engineered with extreme cold-weather packages, is purpose-designed for Mongolia’s uniquely harsh environment.

All units are housed in heavily insulated containerized enclosures with comprehensive winterization: engine block and coolant heating, Arctic-grade battery banks with warmers, fuel circulation heaters, and synthetic lubricant packages validated for reliable cold-start and operation at -45°C. Industrial units include additional heavy-duty dust filtration for Gobi Desert sand.
